Coding Clubs

NextGen Techstars is a program designed to support and promote coding clubs for young people. These clubs provide a space for students to learn about computer programming and technology in a hands-on and interactive way. Through the Techstars NextGen program, young people can connect with mentors, attend workshops and hackathons, and participate in other activities that can help them develop their skills and knowledge in computer science. The goal of Techstars NextGen is to encourage the next generation of technology leaders and innovators by providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed.

Coding clubs are after-school programs or extracurricular activities that will provide students of public lower- and upper secondary schools  with the opportunity to learn about computer programming and technology. These clubs will be run by volunteers or educators who are passionate about teaching young people how to code. Coding clubs will be open to students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced programmers.

In the coding clubs, students will learn how to create websites, build apps, design games, or program robots, among other things. These clubs will use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on activities, and project-based learning, to help students understand the concepts and techniques of computer programming. They will provide students with access to resources such as and online tutorials, guided lessons, etc. to help them practice their skills and work on projects.

The goal of coding clubs is to provide young people with the opportunity to learn about technology in a fun and engaging way, and to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the field. By participating in a coding club, students can learn problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and creativity, as well as gain exposure to the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
