As part of Coding Week 2024, we visited SHMU-1 school in Vushtrri, where we had the pleasure of collaborating with key representatives of education and observing up close the dedication of students and teachers in learning to code. We were joined on this visit by the Director of Education in the Municipality of Vushtrri, Mr. Albanez Tahiraj, the school director, Mr. Astrit Izmaku, and the teacher and coding activities coordinator, Ms. Jehona Zabergja.

During the visit, students showcased their talent and creativity by solving various challenges through coding and technology. It was inspiring to see how computer science education is being integrated into our schools and how teachers are helping to develop the digital skills of the younger generation.

At SHPIK, we continue to support schools and teachers in Kosovo by offering professional training and providing the Code.org curriculum translated into Albanian. These efforts aim to open new horizons for students and strengthen education in technology and innovation.

We extend our gratitude to the Directorate of Education in Vushtrri, the school director, and Ms. Zabergja for their continuous support and dedication. Together, we are creating new opportunities for our youth and paving the way for a brighter future!
