The first meeting is held with the selected Mentees in the TechLead(H)er mentoring program
SHPIK marked an important moment on Monday 15 May, bringing together 40 talented women and girls from the ICT sector selected as Mentees in the TechLead(H)er mentoring program.
With the aim of empowering women in leadership positions and supporting the sustainable development of ICT in Kosovo, the Mentees were informed that the program will provide them with valuable mentoring, professional advice, networking opportunities and skills necessary for career advancement to become successful leaders in their careers.
The highlight of the meeting was informing the Mentees about working with the Mentors who will guide and inspire them throughout the program. The mentors, who will comprise of prominent local and international ICT figures, will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. By sharing their expertise and providing guidance, these mentors will play a key role in shaping mentees’ career paths and helping them develop key career skills.
The TechLead(H)er program aims to equip Mentees with a host of comprehensive skills that include entrepreneurial leadership, business development, project management and many other areas. Between weekly meetings, consultations and advice with Mentors, Mentees will gain valuable insight into the inner workings of the team and increase their skills to excel in their respective roles.
The meeting served as an inspiring springboard, igniting enthusiasm and determination within the Mentees to seize opportunities and take the best from what the program offer.
As they embark on this transformative journey, they will undoubtedly contribute to the sustainable development of ICT in Kosovo, emerging as leaders who will shape the future of this industry.
