The workshop was an informative and productive event that gave attendees an in-depth understanding of the standards, laws and regulations governing ICT education qualifications and curriculum development. The workshop was led by Mr. Milot Hasangjekaj, a qualification expert from the National Qualifications Authority, who shared his extensive knowledge and expertise on the subject.

The workshop aimed to educate education specialists and ICT curriculum experts on the difference between professional standards, validation and accreditation. Attendees were briefed on the various regulations, laws and standards that are in place to ensure that qualifications meet the necessary criteria and are recognized both nationally and internationally.

The participants were introduced to the role of the National Qualifications Authority (NKA) and the requirements that must be met for a qualification to be assessed and accredited. They were given information about various institutions and organizations that provide professional support in this regard.

It was also emphasized that SHPIK, in cooperation with credible institutions, will provide professional support to ensure the fulfillment of qualifications and standards. This support will include providing guidance and assistance to educational institutions and curriculum developers to ensure that their qualifications meet the necessary requirements for certification and accreditation.

The project is financed with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation and the Austrian Development Agency.
