International Day of Girls and Women in Science is an annual event that celebrates the achievement of women in science and technology and to encourage more girls to pursue careers in STEM fields. Despite significant advances made in recent years, women are still underrepresented in many fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This event supports the idea that everyone should have equal access to education and career opportunities in the fields of science and technology. This day is a call to increase the participation of women and girls in the field of science and to help build an equal and inclusive future.

The event was organized in honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in science, and it was focused on empowering women in the tech industry.

The speaker, Hana Arapi, shared her experiences and career journey as an expert in Motion Design in STEM fields. Her talk was insightful and inspiring, highlighting the challenges and opportunities women face in the tech industry, and how to overcome them. The event was a great opportunity for women in tech to network, share ideas, and celebrate the achievements of women in the field.

According to Hana Arapi, Graphic design is a vast profession that aims to convey a clear and visually appealing message that is suitable for the intended audience. She explained that Motion Graphics is a relatively new profession that combines graphic design with animation to create visual content that promotes and illustrates products, services, events, or topics. Hana’s studio is focused on this type of Motion Graphics, which has immense potential for exporting services abroad.

Hana emphasized that to become a Motion Designer, one needs to have a foundation in graphic design. She also highlighted the primary software tools used in both Graphic Design and Motion Graphics, which are Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.

At the end of the event, there was a discussion panel with Hana Arapi, where students had the opportunity to ask her various questions related to her experiences and career in Motion Design. The discussion panel was an excellent opportunity for the audience to gain insights into the industry, learn about the challenges and opportunities, and get valuable advice from an expert in the field.
