ICT DUAL VET

The DUAL VET SIG has been established with the aim to support ICT VET Teachers, Students, School Management and ICT businesses towards successful implementation of DUAL VET model. It will facilitate stakeholder consultation in following topics:

• Implementation of work-based learning
• Implementation of individual practical assignment
• Training of company instructors for work-based learning
• Quality Assurance
• Mentorship programs for learners, etc.

• Continuous development and localization of new ICT profiles
• Continuous updating of curricula and teaching and learning materials
• Continuous upskilling and professional development of teachers
• Training of VET instructors for work-based learning
• Implementation of inter-company vocational training
• Coordination of work-based learning projects

The goals of Dual VET SIG are:

• Smooth transition to DUAL VET Model across all VET schools offering ICT profiles
• Training of school management towards DUAL VET model and their new responsibilities
• Introduction of tools and systems in supporting successful implementation of DUAL VET (LMS, IPA Workflow Management, Asset Management, e-assessment, etc.).
• Provide matching platform for ICT internships
• Ensure knowhow transfer and exchange between DUAL VET stakeholders in Kosovo
• Development of “DUAL VET Learning Companies”accreditation process
